Wanna know how new mom Jessica Alba shed the 25 pounds she gained during her pregnancy and got her body back in shape after giving birth to Honor Marie? Let’s check out her diet and exercise program. ;-)

Diet. Each day, Jessica eats between 1,700 and 2,000 calories, and her workouts help burn 550 calories. Nursing also burns an additional 500 calories a day.

Exercise Program. Jessica works out for an hour, five or six days a week. She was a big fan of the 12-week 3-2-1 Baby Bulge Be Gone workout since it kept her moving with 10-minute sets of cardio, circuit training, and core training. She also enjoys swimming, weight lifting, and using her treadmill at home.

With only 25 pounds gained during her pregnancy, Jessica didn’t have to work out crazy hours or excessively restrict her diet to lose the baby weight.

Now that it’s been 19 months since Jessica gave birth to Honor Marie, she is skinnier. At recent People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, she appeared skinner.

Look at her razor-sharp collarbone which is clearly protruding and her bust is slightly deflated! Wonder what her other fast weight loss solutions are beside diet and exercise!

Weight Watchers’ Program. Beth and Deana use the Weight Watchers’ point system, in which portions of individual foods represent a specific number of points, to help them stay within the daily allocated points.

Their at-home kit that includes the diet plan’s nutrition guide and its slide, a gadget that helps measure calories, or points, consumed during the day, is crucial to their success.

Exercise. Ask any successful weight loser, he/she will tell you that exercise is one of the essential keys to weight loss success.

Beth and Deana do interval walking/running in the park or on treadmills at the gym that equals to between 3 and 5 miles of cardiovascular work, three days a week.

They also take part in the “Gravity” class that focuses on strength training, using total body machines. Guess what? Since they joined the class last August, they went down 3 dress sizes!

Teaming up with your best friend to lose weight is easy, but how do you make your weight loss a success? Well, through commitment and accountability.
