Weight Watchers’ Program. Beth and Deana use the Weight Watchers’ point system, in which portions of individual foods represent a specific number of points, to help them stay within the daily allocated points.

Their at-home kit that includes the diet plan’s nutrition guide and its slide, a gadget that helps measure calories, or points, consumed during the day, is crucial to their success.

Exercise. Ask any successful weight loser, he/she will tell you that exercise is one of the essential keys to weight loss success.

Beth and Deana do interval walking/running in the park or on treadmills at the gym that equals to between 3 and 5 miles of cardiovascular work, three days a week.

They also take part in the “Gravity” class that focuses on strength training, using total body machines. Guess what? Since they joined the class last August, they went down 3 dress sizes!

Teaming up with your best friend to lose weight is easy, but how do you make your weight loss a success? Well, through commitment and accountability.

Here is another success story of a weight loser, Khourey Royal, who didn’t resort to fast weight loss solutions like going through surgery or taking pills to help him shed inches and pounds.

Diet and exercise helped Royal lose 165lbs in just over a year!

Remember Jennifer Pate who lost 116lbs through regular workouts and healthy meals? It’s the same to Khourey Royal who lost from 430 pounds to 265.

What made Royal want to lose weight? According to him, “I kinda woke up one morning and thought I’d take the initiative to improve my life and improve my health and getting in better shape.

How did he lose his weight? Exercise. Royal was a runner. He ran between 30 and 40 miles a week. Long runs between 10 and 11 miles and short runs like 5 or 6 miles.

Khourey gave a lot of credit for his weight loss to his friends who ran with him and pushed him to run further and harder.

His advice on when you hit a plateau is just be patient. Stick with it, keep going at it and you’ll reach the weight you want.

Losing weight has changed him for the better. He’s happier, he’s not as fatigued. It’s now a new way of life, a healthier cleaner way of life for Royal.
