Now, it’s my turn to envy women, especially work at home moms with kids who walk with their perfect little bodies looking lean and sexy. It always makes me feel bad about my fat belly and wish I could look and feel the same way and lose weight (again).

When I first decided to lose weight, I was as confused as you are now. There are simply too many weight loss exercises, weight loss diets and programs, weight loss pills and supplements, natural remedies for weight loss and weight loss tips that help in losing weight quickly in the market.

You must know that your friend can lose 9 pounds in 11 days doesn’t mean that you can achieve the same results. This is because each person has a unique metabolism. Due to different metabolic rates, the results may vary.

If you find that the weight is not being lost as quickly as it should be then perhaps you will need to adapt your exercise routine to something that is more arduous and change part of your weight loss diet plan to increase energy levels.

To increase your metabolic rate, eat at least 5-6 small meals per day. Eating more frequently and in smaller quantities not only helps to increase your metabolism but it also allows your body to feel more satisfied throughout the day.

Don’t be tempted to skip breakfast – or any meal to lose weight. While skipping a meal will reduce your calorie intake for that hour, it will leave you much hungrier later on. Even if you are typically not hungry in the morning, eat something small like a piece of fruit or even drink 100% fruit juice.

To tell you the truth, I was so happy when I first came to know that I could eat more frequently and still lose weight. This makes my determination for fast weight loss increase.

4. Go Nuts. Eat 4 to 5 servings of nuts, seeds, and legumes a few times a week as they contain plenty of protein and healthful fats.

5. Limit Fats and Oil. Limit your fats and oil to 2 to 3 servings a day. Fats are the most concentrated source of calories. Limiting them will help you control your weight.

6. Cut Down the Salt Intake. This means eating fewer canned and processed foods, and more fresh foods.

Besides changing your diet, you need to do exercise for at least 30 minutes a day to speed up your weight loss. Isn’t 20-30 minutes of exercising a couple of times a week worthy if your weight drops bit by bit?

Dieting and exercising are not easy and fun to lose weight. But they are free weight loss solutions that do bring wonderful results if you take actions and stay focused.
